This course provides the theory and skills for overnight touring in moderate sea conditions. Participants will gain experience in more dynamic waters, such as surf and current, with a focus on risk assessment and decision-making within the context of multi-day touring. Rolling and towing are introduced at this level. Other skills include rescue scenarios for overnight excursions, trip preparation, navigation, communication, and more. This course includes an overnight camping trip.
